Charcoal on Paper, 9 x 12
I've been interested in gargoyles for a long time. Sometimes people comment that they are 'scary'. Perhaps, but the original intention of gargoyles on the outside of a building was to ward off evil spirits.
This piece was exhibited at the State Fair of Texas in 2005, taking a second place ribbon for drawing. It was also exhibited at the Plano Art Association Membership show in 2006, winning third place overall.
This drawing WILL ship matted and framed, due to the delicate nature of the charcoal medium. Please contact us for purchasing information, celeste@celestecollierart.com
14 x 11" Oil on Canvas Board
While I was buying some shiny apples in the produce section for this still life painting, this little lemon caught my eye. I imagine the big shiny apple in front saying, "Hey, how did this lemon get in here?!" What do you see in this painting?
