I'm a studio painter, but the weather was too nice not to get out there and paint!  I liked this view, because you can see three different mountains, and enjoy the pretty meadow.

This painting was on display as part of the "Wounded in Action", an Art Exhibit of Orthopaedic Advancements, in New Orleans, LA.  The painting was then exhibited at the University of Maryland - Baltimore between Memorial and Veterans Day 2010.

This drawing was awarded first place in the Professional Graphics division at the 2008 Collin County Art Show.

"Upon Hallowed Ground" was created from photographs I took while visiting the Antietam Battlefield National Park.  This chapel, named Dalgren's Chapel, was errected in 1880 to commemorate the fallen on both sides of the battle.  It is a sacred and beautiful place.

This painting celebrates the life after this one.  It was created for a family who lost a precious infant son.  At his funeral, the clouds parted and glorious light streamed down.  The family was comforted, and knew their son was in a better place - in God's Garden.

My Father and I originally photographed this old gas station in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania about 15 years ago.  Fascinated by this subject, I have done several versions of this painting over the years.
