My Father and I originally photographed this old gas station in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania about 15 years ago. Fascinated by this subject, I have done several versions of this painting over the years.

Upon Hallowed Ground Available

This drawing was awarded first place in the Professional Graphics division at the 2008 Collin County Art Show.
"Upon Hallowed Ground" was created from photographs I took while visiting the Antietam Battlefield National Park. This chapel, named Dalgren's Chapel, was errected in 1880 to commemorate the fallen on both sides of the battle. It is a sacred and beautiful place.
