Artist's Statement
Art is highly personal and subjective. What one person may love, another dislikes. I paint what I enjoy painting. As a cancer survivor, I've been inspired by Lance Armstrong. What I love about his story is that he was a better cyclist AFTER cancer than he was BEFORE. That is what I strive for in my art - to be a better artist now that I was before I was diagnosed.
What people are saying:
"Thank you, thank you, thank you... we are absolutely awestruck, we couldn't believe the beauty and detail... it is so perfect."

"Wow. Just thinking about what you've done brings tears to my eyes. You have no idea how you've touched my heart. The painting [my husband] had you do is amazing. You truly saw what was in my heart that no one else could see. You have an amazing talent, but I'm quite certain that this painting was also inspiration. Thank you so much. I was totally taken by suprise that someone else could see what I felt... I totally feel that you have shared my experience - heart and soul. I cannot say thank you enough. "

Artist's Bio
Celeste has had the opportunity to live in and travel to many different states, and appreciate the diverse landscape of each. Recently the Collier family relocated to beautiful Northern Alabama, after having spent a year in the high desert of Southeastern Arizona. Texas was home to the family before they moved to Arizona in 2009. All of these places, as well as others, have inspired Celeste's landscape paintings. A Pennsylvania native, Celeste received a Talent Scholarship to study fine art at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Celeste earned her B.F.A. in drawing and painting. In 2004, Celeste left a successful career in retail fashion to concentrate her efforts on her family and her artwork.
Since that time, her award-winning work has been included in numerous national exhibitions, and regional shows. Her work is included in public and private collections throughout the country.
Celeste's luminous paintings are characterized by her attention to detail. regardless of medium. Her beautiful style is evident in the many mediums she works in, which include oils, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencil, ink and graphite.
Celeste and husband, Mark, have two children, Lucas and Josie. The Collier family also includes loveable dog, "Missy".
In July of 2008, Celeste was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Celeste has successfully undergone surgery, chemotheraphy and radiation, and her cancer is in full remission. The Collier family expresses much gratitude for the prayers, well-wishes and many acts of kindness from friends and family.
My Father-in-law took this picture of my work area, while I was working on a study for the painting "Two Bar-D Ranch".
